第21回池袋演劇祭「豊島区長賞」受賞作品 小野寺昭氏を主演に迎えての公演

あらすじ

芝居は今、落ちぶれた旅一座の劇団、市川菊乃丞一座が群馬県、赤城山の麓の温泉旅館で十八番の芝居、 「国定忠治」をしているところから始まる。 我が儘で気まま、おまけに女好きで、だらしのない座長、菊之丞(小野寺昭)が芝居中、突然に江戸時代に紛れ込む。そこに出くわしたヤクザ達に本物の国定忠 治に間違えられたから、さぁ大変！！…偽物とバレルと命がない。必死の菊之丞に更なる試練が待ち受ける…。そして、誰も予想しえない感動的なラスト。 １５０年の時を経て、筋や同理の通らない現代日本に国定忠治がもの申す。 ご存知、社会派痛快時代劇。笑い、涙、感動そしてメッセージあり。山内勉渾身の書き下ろし。
