あらすじ
生活向上委員会が世紀末に送る緊急公演！！ 州知事も選べない。直接大統領を選びたい。平成版「ええじゃないか」が流行する中、幕末の暴れん坊「坂本竜馬」が幽霊になって現世に帰ってくる。 アメリカに憧れ、アメリカ人になりたいって踊りに明けくれる若者たちと竜馬との出逢い。 21世紀を目前に、国のあり方、行方を問いながら、竜馬自身による竜馬を殺した犯人捜しや、あの世の国境警備隊“新選組”と追いかけあいなど、奇想天外に 物語は進行し、やがて感動のラスト、夜明け前を迎える。
